Dasia Oliveri

My name is Dasia. I grew up in upstate NY and moved to the Boston area 17 years
ago. I live on the south shore in MA with my husband, children ,and my French
Bulldog. I am a physical therapist, currently working in the Quality and Performance
Improvement field.
Running has always been a big part of my life. I ran high school track and field as
well as cross- country. After moving to Massachusetts, I was inspired by the
marathon energy and great running community. I began running longer distances
and have since run 7 marathons. I also have a blast running 5ks with my children.
When I’m not running, I enjoy watching my children’s sporting events, traveling, and
trying new dance classes.
I am so excited to run the Boston Marathon for Team Abby Mac!

Jim Nolan is a Massachusetts native, who lives in the south end of Boston with his wife Louise and dog Fergus. He has been working in Biotech his entire 20+ year career, developing and manufacturing a large number of clinical therapeutics. Originally picking up running for the free post run beer, and with some convincing from Louise, started running Marathons 8 years ago. Jim will be running Tokyo followed by Boston this spring, completing the world majors to get his 6-Star medal in his hometown. When not working or training, Jim likes to spend his time traveling around the globe with Louise, SCUBA diving, or at the dog park with Fergus. He is thrilled to be running for the Abby Mac Foundation in the 2025 Boston Marathon.
Marty Pierce

My name is Marty Pierce and I could not be more pumped to run the Boston Marathon with Team Abby Mac! I am 19 years old and currently a senior at Tilton school and live in North Reading, MA. At Tilton, I am a school ambassador, dorm proctor and peer counselor. This will be my second marathon after completing the Cape Cod Marathon last October. I have always enjoyed running as conditioning to be a hockey goalie, but I have fallen in love with it especially in the past year. The mental and physical benefits I experience from running have been simply life changing and I now enjoy competing in events such as marathons. When I’m not running, studying or training for hockey, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs Tuffy and Bauer, hanging out with friends, reading good books and helping high school and college athletes with their training and nutrition/supplementation through my online training business Marty Pierce Performance. I also work with the 1st Phorm Legionnaire Program, which educates me in supplementation to help as many real people get long term results as possible! Running the Boston Marathon means a lot to me due to my grandfather Marty Pierce II and the legacy that he carries in Boston from coaching Matignon hockey, so words really can’t describe how grateful I am to have this opportunity.

About Director
Greg MacCurtain

Our daughter, Abigail, age 14, has a terminal illness called Leigh's Syndrome. She was diagnosed at ten months of age and was given a life expectancy of two years. To say we were devastated is an understatement. We watched as other parents attended their children's sporting events and watched their children meet developmental milestones with envy. Fortunately, Abby is on an experimental drug and is thriving, but she uses a wheelchair and is non-verbal.
